 Daniel Ji is Vice President of Hospitality at HRE Commercial, where he leads hotel acquisitions and sales, alongside multifamily and commercial real estate. His approach is grounded in a financing-first perspective: Daniel began his career as a commercial loan officer at a large national bank, underwriting credit for early-stage businesses and commercial real estate before moving into high-net-worth and complex real estate transactions — experience that continues to inform how he structures and evaluates every deal.
Daniel is also an active real estate investor and an aspiring developer, having completed several value-add and ground-up build projects — navigating city permitting processes to substantially increase asset value. That principal-side experience — sourcing, financing, and executing deals on his own account — gives him a working understanding of underwriting and deal structure that most brokers only see from one side of the table.
An Orange County native, Daniel holds a B.A. in Business Economics from UC Irvine and remains deeply connected to the region's market fundamentals and community.
